The indoor series at Edinborough Park runs October through mid-May, while the outdoor series runs in summer at Centennial Lakes Park. Previous acts have included everything from blues to folk to symphonies, magicians to live animals, comedy to dance. The goal is to offer a variety of entertainment to park visitors. Performers must supply their own equipment and set it up. Stipends range from $150 to $250, with more for some premium dates. Interested performers must fill out the application at EdinaMN.gov/ParkPerformers. Please note even if you’ve played a previous series, you will need to reapply for 2025. This is now a combined application, so you only need to apply once to play at either Centennial Lakes Park or Edinborough Park. This application will include the fall 2025 to spring 2026 Edinborough Park season. Deadline to apply is Jan. 31, 2025. A committee will review all the applications by mid-February. Performers will be contacted, dates confirmed and contracts signed at the end of February. Centennial Lakes Park performances are at Maetzold Amphitheater, where the performers are under a covered stage, while the Farmers Market performances are along the walkways of the park, 7499 France Ave. Edinborough Park performances are at the indoor amphitheater of the park, 7700 York Ave. S., which is home to a popular indoor playpark but also draws adults for its entertainment series.
