APPROVING MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE
COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY IN AND FOR THE CITY OF EDINA, MINNESOTA
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina, Minnesota (the "City"), as follows:
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.003, Subdivision 5 and 6, the Mayor has
submitted for the City Council's consideration the appointment of the following members to the
Authority: Carolyn Jackson and James Pierce.
2. In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.003, Subdivision 6, the City Council
hereby approves the appointment of two Commissioners of the Authority for terms of such office
which coincide with their terms of office as members of the City Council, respectively.
3. In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.003, Subdivisio 7, the City Clerk
(a) shall file the originals of such certificates of appointment in the office of the City anager and (b)
shall file in the office of the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Employ int and Economic
Development a certified copy of this Resolution and a certified copy of the abov-tioned certificates
of appointment.
