Participate in City Hall Selfie Day for Gift Cards, Games and Fun
Edina, Minn., July 29, 2025 – Show your Edina spirit and support of local government by participating in the 10th-annual City Hall Selfie Day Tuesday, Aug. 12.
City Hall Selfie Day is a celebration of public service showcasing pride in local government institutions. Every year since 2016, government employees, elected officials, members of
the media and community members across the country participate in the event organized by Emerging Local Government Leaders (ELGL).
Residents are encouraged to wear their favorite Edina merch or shade of green to showcase Edina colors, visit City Hall, take a photo and share it on social media. Tag @EdinaMN and use
#CityHallSelfie across all social media platforms when posting. Props will be available at City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St., 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Stop by to enjoy candy, snacks, yard games
and the chance to chat with City employees.
Any photos shared on social media will be eligible to win Most Edina Spirit, Most Unique Photo or People’s Choice. Voting for People’s Choice will take place on the @EdinaMN Instagram
story. The three winners will receive donated gift cards to a coffee shop. Winners will also be announced on social media.
