HomeMy WebLinkAboutLighthouse Night Torchlight Concert 2025Contact: Lauren Siebenaler, Senior Communications Coordinator Phone 952-833-9537 • LSiebenaler@EdinaMN.gov • EdinaMN.gov  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  Lighthouse Night and Torchlight Concert Set for Aug. 10  Edina, Minn., Aug. 5, 2025 – The annual Lighthouse Night and Torchlight Concert featuring throwback entertainment from the early 1900s begins at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at Centennial Lakes Park. Visitors to the park, 7499 France Ave. S., will be entertained by a sleight-of-hand magician, Italian organ grinder, mechanical man and a Wurlitzer band organ. They’ll be able to see Model T Fords and penny-farthings – late 19th-century bicycles with giant front wheels. With 25-cent ice cream cones, the event includes some throwback prices as well. Throughout the evening, members of the Edina Model Yacht Club will run their remote-controlled boats on the park’s waters. The park will feature torches and special lighting, weather permitting. Fife & Drums will perform at 7:45 p.m., leading up to the Torchlight Concert with a performance by the First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band at 8:30 p.m. Admission to Lighthouse Night and the Torchlight Concert are free, and all ages are welcome.
