Walk With the Mayor to Be Held Sept. 20
Edina, Minn., Sept. 10 – September’s Walk with the Mayor will take place 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at 50th & France.
The walk will begin at the fountain outside Faherty on 50th Street. This event provides an opportunity for community members to come together and explore Edina’s beautiful downtown while
exchanging ideas about what’s to come.
“Please join me at the fountain at 50th & France on Saturday morning, Sept. 20, for a walk around the neighborhood!” Mayor Jim Hovland said. “Window shopping should be at its best with
fall upon us and maybe it’s not too early in the day for a bit of ice cream, or at least a good cup of coffee! I hope to see you there.”
No prior registration is required to attend the Walk with the Mayor; simply show up at the designated meeting time to walk and talk with Hovland.
Remember to dress for the weather that day. In case of rain, the walk will be moved to Galleria Edina and will begin at the lobby between Cov and Starbucks.
