Answering rollcall were Members Andrea Leszko, Matt Giljahn, Mary Absolon, Tracy
Nelson, Megan D'Orazio, Brenna Smithson, Nick Mattison, Andrew Hawkins, Anoushka
Jha
Absent: Andrea Patineau, Aditi Gandhi
3. Approval of Meeting Agenda
Commissioner Hawkins made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Nelson,
to Approval.
Ayes: Andrea Leszko, Matt Giljahn, Mary Absolon, Tracy Nelson, Megan D'Orazio,
Brenna Smithson, Nick Mattison, Andrew Hawkins
Nays: None

4. Approval of Meeting Minutes
4.1. October 14, 2024 CHC Draft Minutes Vice Chair Mattison made a motion, seconded by Chair Absolon, to Approval.
Ayes: Andrea Leszko, Matt Giljahn, Mary Absolon, Tracy Nelson, Megan D'Orazio,
Brenna Smithson, Nick Mattison, Andrew Hawkins
Nays: None

6. Reports/Recommendations
6.1. Sub-Committee Reports
Updates: School Connection Workgroup: Have started research into what, if any,
neighboring cities are doing to connec with mental health initiatives in local schools.
Communications/Media Workgroup: 'Start With Hi' initiative has been rolled out and fits
well with this item, how can CHC help spread the word and help coordinate with Edina
specific outreach.
Opioid Workgroup: Staffing changes and transition at Bloomington Public Health has
slowed down progress on RFP. Will look to get update in near future.
6.2. 2025 Work Plan Process Update
7. Chair and Member Comments
Discussion around getting updates/connections with Bloomington Public Health on a
more regular basis, such as quarterly.
8. Staff Comments
Update on Fire Station 2 progress and discussion around possible outreach initiatives
from new location.
