Communications Coordinator Phone 952-833-9537 • lsiebenaler@EdinaMN.gov • EdinaMN.gov  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  Toys for Tots Collections at Edina Police and Fire Stations Edina, Minn., Dec. 4, 2025 – The Edina Police and Fire departments are collecting donations for the Toys for Tots holiday gift program. Donations will be accepted at the Police Department, 4801 W. 50th St., Fire Station 1, 6250 Tracy Ave., and Fire Station 2, 4401 W. 76th St., through 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16. New, unwrapped toys, along with gifts for older kids and teens, will be accepted in the Police and Fire department lobbies for the next several weeks. The Police drop-off is open 24 hours a day daily. The Fire Station 1 drop-off is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and the Fire Station 2 drop-off is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. “The Edina Police and Fire departments are happy to once again partner with Toys for Tots in 2025,” said Community Engagement Officer Nick Donahue. “This program is a wonderful way for our residents to support those less fortunate children in our community to ensure everyone has a fun and memorable Christmas. I am constantly impressed with the generosity of our Edina residents!” Last year in Hennepin County, the local Toys for Tots chapter distributed 214,353 toys and supported 198,282 children.  For more information, contact Donahue at 952-826-1652 or ndonahue@EdinaMN.gov or visit minneapolis-mn.toysfortots.org. -30-
