HomeMy WebLinkAboutFix It ClinicContact: Lauren Siebenaler, Senior Communications Coordinator Phone 952-833-9537 • LSiebenaler@EdinaMN.gov • EdinaMN.gov  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  Edina Public Health and Hennepin County to Host ‘Fix It’ Clinic  Edina, Minn., Jan. 30, 2025 – Hennepin County and the Edina Public Health Division are partnering to host a free Fix-It Clinic noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Edina Community Center, 5701 Normandale Road. Bring your broken household items to the Fix-It Clinic and work together with local, skilled volunteers to diagnose, troubleshoot and fix your items. Volunteers will help with small appliances, clothing that is clean, electronics, heirlooms and more. Fix-It Clinics teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections and reduce the number of repairable things that are thrown in the trash. Please enter the event at Door 8 of the Community Center. The clinic is first come, first served. No pre-registration is required. Edina Public Health will have staff at the clinic to share information about organics recycling and reuse. They will also have free treats and coffee (while supplies last), but make sure to bring your own reusable coffee cup. No single-use coffee cups will be provided.
