This directory provides an overview of activities from approximately March through August. The program information can be found online. For those who are wait-listed, we make every effort to get people in the class or program. If you’re new to Edina Parks & Recreation programs, please set up your free account in advance of registration at EdinaParks.com/Register. Pro Tip If you're planning to have your child attend the same session as their friends, communicate with other parents in advance to get them signed up at the same time. On mobile, select “Account” at the top • Items stay in cart for only 10 minutes. • At checkout, you will be asked a series of prompts or waivers that you need to check before your transaction is complete. • Waitlists: Preference given to those not currently enrolled in a class/activity. • Refunds must be made at least 10 business days prior to the start of class and will be assessed a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be given 10 business days prior to the start of an activity. • Partial credit will be considered if cancellation is due to illness or serious injury. • For account assistance, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 952-826-0367. Edina Give & Go Program • Provides grants for Edina Public Schools students to participate in academics, arts and sports. • Apply by visiting EdinaGiveandGo.org; online application form available in multiple languages. Saturday, April 11 10-11:30 a.m. Braemar Golf Course $35/adult-child pair Community Clothing Swap The annual Earth Day Community Clothing Swap event will be hosted by the Edina Senior Center! This wildly popular waste reduction and reuse event is free, open to everyone and a lot of fun! Pre-event donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 13-17 at the Senior Center. Items may also be brought to the event. Please limit the quantity of items brought to two bags. Items left from the swap will be donated to a local partner. Fishing Tournament AGES 6-15 Join us for the annual Centennial Lakes Park fishing tournament! Winners are crowned in two age categories: ages 6-11 and 12-15. Children 6-11 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must provide their own fishing gear and bait and be able to take off their own fish. Girls and boys of all skill levels learn and play the game with expert coaching and guidance from PGA Staff at Braemar Golf Course. Players will compete on teams with friends in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship and builds confidence. Braemar PGA Jr. League players receive six one-hour team practices (dates/times TBD) and six regular matches held within the league. The program runs June 13 through July 25 with matches held on Saturday mornings. Coaches set their own practice schedules. Cost is $349. Register directly with the PGA at www.pgajrleague.com.
