Village of Edina
4801 West 50th Street
Minneapolis Minnesota 55424
Dear Mrs, Hallberg:
In checking Lots 11 and 12, Block 6, "Brookside Heights",
affected by your village council's action to vacate certain streets, I find
that Lots 11 and 12, forfeited to the State of Minnesota the latter part of
1962 and were offered for sale on June 5, 1963 but were not sold until
August 12, 1970 to Frank X. Ascher, Jr. of 5125 Oxford Avenue South, 55436.
We found in our conversation this morning that the
vacation of certain streets did not affect Lots 9 and 10, Block 6, "Brookside
Heights", which also were sold to Frank X. Ascher, Jr. on an earlier date.
I believe we should have a copy of the council resolution,
if Lots 11 and 12 will be the lots acquiring the (or part) of the vacated
streets, We will then include it in our descriptions.
Very' truly.

County Auditor
