CALL TO ORDER
Chair Hovland called the HRA meeting to order at 9:24 p.m.
ROLLCALL
Answering rollcall were Commissioners Bennett, Brindle, Swenson and Chair Hovland. Absent was
Commissioner Sprague
APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA
Motion made by Commissioner Swenson, seconded by Commissioner Brindle approving the Meeting
Agenda.
Ayes: Bennett, Brindle, Swenson, Hovland
Motion carried.
MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 4,2013 APPROVED
Motion made by Commissioner Swenson, seconded by Commissioner Brindle approving the Minutes
of the Meeting of the Edina Housing and Redevelopment Authority for November 4, 2013.
Ayes: Bennett, Brindle, Swenson, Hovland
Motion carried.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AUTHORIZED—PROMENADE PHASE 4
Environmental Engineer Bintner explained that Edina Promenade Phase 4 includes several public
improvements including: pedestrian, water and public art features, from Hazelton Road to just north of
the Centennial Lake/Promenade connections. He added URS Corporation has provided a proposal for
professional services related to the Phase 4 projects in an amount not-to-exceed $120,000. This would
include professional services for all aspects of the project.
Ayes: Bennett, Brindle, Swenson, Hovland
Motion carried.
Following a brief discussion of the project, motion made by Commissioner Brindle, seconded by
Commissioner Swenson authorizing the HRA Executive Director to sign a professional services
agreement with URS Corporation for Promenade Phase 4 in an amount-not-to exceed $120,000.
Ayes: Brindle, Swenson, Hovland
Nay: Bennett
Motion carried.
Chair Hovland declared the meeting adjourned at 9:25 p.m.
