RECEIVING FEASIBILITY STUDIES FOR
NEIGHBORHOOD STREET IMPROVEMENTS:
MENDELSSOHN A, IMPROVEMENT NO. BA-393
NORMANDALE, IMPROVEMENT BA-394; BRAEMAR HILLS B, IMPROVEMENT BA-395
ST. PATRICKS LANE, IMPROVEMENT BA-396;
GLEASON CIRCLE, IMPROVEMENT BA-397
LAKE EDINA, IMPROVEMENT BA-398
WHEREAS, at the request of Edina City Engineer, studies have been prepared by staff and consultant with reference
to the proposed Improvement Nos. BA-393, BA-394, BA-395, BA-396, BA-397, and BA-398, the improvement of
Mendelssohn A, Normandale, Braemar Hills B, St. Patricks Lane, Gleason Circle, and Lake Edina, and these studies are
hereby received by the Council on November 20, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the studies provide information regarding whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-
effective, and feasible; whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement;
the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate
individual assessments for affected parcels;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with said studies and
the possible assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statute, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $1,044,259 (BA-393), $1,270,000 (BA-394), $319,612 (BA-395), $155,940 (BA-
396), $85,028 (BA-397), and $3,092,500 (BA-398).
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement�on the 11" day of December,
2012, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 6:00 p.m. an the Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as require y law.
