RESOLUTION NO. 2015-29
CITY OF EDINA SUPPORT FOR
THE GOVERNOR'S TRANSPORTATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Edina is a municipality in the state of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the state's aging transportation infrastructure is located within the City of
Edina; and
WHEREAS,the City of Edina receives state aid funding to maintain and reconstruct state aid routes
from the state; and
WHEREAS,the Governor's Transportation Plan for 2015 includes transportation investment within
the City of Edina; and
WHEREAS,the Governor's Transportation Plan for 2015 includes increases in state aid funding for
the City of Edina;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edina, Minnesota,that the
City Council of the City of Edina hereby approves this Resolution support' g the Governor's Transportation
Plan to invest in Minnesota's aging infrastructure.
