PROCLAMATION
KAREN KURT NIGHT
MAY 19, 2015
WHEREAS, Karen taught us to be organized in our work plans; and
WHEREAS, Karen demonstrated a dynamic example of calm leadership; and
WHEREAS, Karen successfully led our new vision process; and
WHEREAS, Karen led the creation of Edina's Neighborhood Associations Policy development
and encouraged community engagement; and
• WHEREAS, Karen has been instrumental in completing the small area plan for Valleyview
and Wooddale; and
WHEREAS, Karen displayed pride in the City of Edina, its employees and the residents that
she served and will be missed!
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of.Edina hereby proclaims May 19, 2015, Karen Kurt Night
in Edina and thanks Karen for her dedication and ervice to the City of Edina.
The Council wishes Karen the best as the new i y anager of Platteville, even
though the city is in Wisconsin.
