RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
WHEREAS, John Wallin began his service to the City of Edina as an Accountant in the Finance
Department on June 25, 1984;and,
WHEREAS, John Wallin was promoted to the position of Finance Director on January I, 1986; and,
WHEREAS, John Wallin has announced his retirement, effective September 4, 2014;and,
WHEREAS, John Wallin has helped to create a financially strong municipal organization at the City of
Edina, including the City's recognition as a `Aaa' rated city government by Moody's
Investor Services and Standard& Poor's;and,
WHEREAS, the Edina City Council wishes to recognize and thank John Wallin for over thirty years
of dedicated service to the City of Edina.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Edina City Council that it expresses its official appreciation
and recognition to:
John Wallin
for over thirty years of dedicated service to the City of Edina.
