Council Member Stewart To Host July Walk
Edina, Minn., July 10, 2015 – The City of Edina holds a “Walk with the Mayor” every month. City Council
Member Bob Stewart will lead this month’s walk 9 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at 50th & France.
Participants will have the opportunity to walk around downtown Edina, a unique business neighborhood. 50th
& France features more than 175 retailers and professional services.
“I value opportunities such as these to get to know more people who live in the community and understand
their concerns,” said Stewart.
Stewart plans to discuss current events with those who attend and answer any questions participants may
have. Walkers should meet at Landmark’s Edina Cinema.
Walk with the Mayor events are typically held the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. In case of rain,
residents should meet at Caribou Coffee at Southdale Center.
