Fall into the Arts Festival set for Sept. 12-13
Edina, Minn., Aug. 25, 2015 – The City of Edina is gearing up for the annual “Fall into the Arts Festival,”
held every September at Centennial Lakes Park.
A benefit for the Edina Crime Prevention Fund, Edina Art Center and Centennial Lakes Park, the 2015 Fall
into the Arts Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Park, 7499 France Ave. S.
Vendor booths will be located to the north and south of the Hughes Pavilion along the lakefront and to the
south on the upper terrace parking deck in front of the Centennial Lakes Office Buildings.
Each year, more than 250 artists, food vendors, sponsors and art enthusiasts celebrate the last days
of summer by joining the community in what artists have called “one of the most beautiful venues in the
country.” This year, attendance is estimated to be 20,000 people from the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
The Fall Into the Arts Festival will feature approximately 238 exhibitors representing diverse media such as
sculpture, glass, wearable art, pottery, jewelry, photography, fiber arts and more. Artwork will be displayed
along the brick and paved walkways of Centennial Lakes.
“I am really looking forward to this year’s Fall into the Arts Festival. It is an amazing setting, with a hint of fall
in the air and great artwork,” said Fall into the Arts Executive Director and Edina Art Center General
Manager Michael Frey. “It really is one of the most beautiful festivals in the nation.”
This year’s Gold sponsors are Borton Volvo, Blick Art Materials, Simon Properties & Southdale Center and
