Mr. Jacobson also reported that the Student Centor had begun its operation as

Tho financiag report %'or eight months ending August 31, t974 sholfed revenue
at $194,188 and not incoms from opGratigag departments at $17,486. Operating
expenses were $125041, interest on bonds and loans $18,984 and provision for
depreciation $6,624 leaving a net income of $66,690. Mr. Jacobson reported the
reduction of 18 hole revenue from 1973 in 1974 is due to poor weather conditions
for the season.
Mr. Rice stated that the Golf Course Committee should have their report
submitted to ;,he Park Board on its racommendations by the Novomber mooting.
Vt. Mr. Jacobson reported that at the September Park Board ine.eting, the Board had
requested Mr. Rod Brannon, (GoWnunity'Educat0n Director, to be present to review
Ke Ccoparative Agreement. During the month, Mr. Rosland had met with both Dr.
Lieber and Mr. Brannon and it was decidod to drop tho agreement and contbue to
o,r-,oporest a betu,,�on School and City facilities as they are presantly doing now.
Mr. Jacobson reporlud That Council had reviewed ?he Park Capital improvements
project at its last most ing of October 7, 1974. Q was decided that tho Council
would Wl a join -j- t-tev.txng with the Park Board to discuss ''Cho project.

Improve mants for 075. The staff rocommends using $5,000 of this money to explore
tho loakago problart of the swimming pool . The do musbe removed and piping

working on the problem.
After discussion, Jack Rice moved In authorize the staff to usO bOt n0f to
exceod $6,500 for removing concroto dock at the swimming pool and exploring the
entire problem. Mrs. Lonsbury seconded and the motion was approved.
