1. Mrs. Shaw moved thal the Fork Board minutes of November Q, 1974 be approved
as written and submitted. Mr. Wbrner seconded and Tho n*tion was approved.
fl. ORDINANCES - DOG WALUNG AND MOTORIZED VEHICLES
Mr. Posiand bca_ leigy described the pa-oblem with the present ordinance on dog
waiking in city parks. At present, the ordinance rands that Thera will be no
dog watkiegg in parks where It is posTed, Quaver, the problem Qat has occurred
is that as soon as the stgn is posted in a park, it is torn down. The present
ordinancs is almost Impossible to onforca am therpfore, Tnett ective. lie
suggested that an ordin6ncs be drawn up the? wouQbre more effective and more
enforceable. He recommended a simitar ordinance that is now being used In

Mrs. Shaw would fike Ihe staff I -o sand out several questions that should be
asked of the community for their feaHng an a. bond issue. Mr. Rice stated that
he would get together with Mir. Roosland and mail these out to the members.
Viii. Mr. Rosland announced to the Board members that at the Minnesota Recreation
and Park AssociatIonts State Conference hold November 20 through 22, 1974,
Mr. Richards was presented with the Outstanding CormiAssioners Award.
