Mr. LeAs moved that the minutes of January 12, 1971, be approved as

Mr. Rosland introduced to the Board, Mr. Lee Johnson who presented a
petition requesting the VilJ.ae--,e to build a wildlife management pond next to
Nine Mile Creek just south of Abercrombie Drive. The petition also con.-
alsted of plans and layouts as iNe-connended by the State for a wilcu.-ife
management pond. rotal cost of thin project would be $842.
After some diecusSiOn Mr. Lewis t-,oved that we proceed with -this
project. Dr. Carron seconded and the motion carried.

Mr. Kojetirn stated that two students placed in National Figure Skating
Competition - Paula Lamon. and Betsy Hobson—
After some discussion, Mr. Richards moved that a certificate be glvez-1
to these youngsters and others reaching achievement 5-n various sports and
also to people wha, have given voluntear tilazze'as prasi dents, etc., of various
Boards. Mr. LcTtiis seconded and the, rpration carrjed. Dr. Carson was asked to
help design these cartificatea.
