PARK BOARD HINUTES
June 8, 1971

UTHERS PRESENT: Mrs. Lonsbury and Mrs. Moore
Hr. Rosland introduced Mrs. Virginia Shaw as the new meiidber of the Park
The staff of the Park Department took the Park Board on a tour of various
park facilities. The tour covered Walnut Ridge Park, Hud Lake, Braemar Park
including the new athletic complex, gun range, tennis court site and archery
range, Dr. Farley's property,,Mort Arneson Acres Park-, Cornelia wildlife refuse
and Pamela Park.
Z. Mr. Turnbull moved that the minutes of Harch 9, 1971, �e approved as
written. Mr. Richards seconded and the motion carried.
11. FINANCIAL REPORTS
Financial reports for the golf course.and arena, ending Hay 31,'1971, were
reviewed. The arena showed a net less of $2,211 compared to a net loss of
$2,244 at this time last year. The golf course report showed a net loss of
$1,390 compared to a net income of $8,733 in 1970.
