i. Pyr. Lewis moved that the mxinutea of December 6, 1965, be approved as
written. Dr. Jackson seconded and the motion carried.

The swimming pool incGma and expense ' report for the 1965 season was
presented to the Park Board. This report was compared with the 1963 and 1964
seasons. A summary of the 1965 report is as follows:

The net lose in 1465 was $4,037-00 as dared to a $1,755-78 net
lass in 1964. This watt® contributed to the fact that 1965 was ouch ai poor
swis ins season. The 1965 season was tiie coolest sunmer on record since the
pool opened 1" 1955. Sand blaa€:ing and repainting of the filter house to the
coat of $1,700.00 also made the net lose larger.

Mr. Rosland reviewed with the 'pari. Board the Braemar Arena season
ticket report. The following info=ation was related.

It was suggested that the admissiOn fee for the Edina-Worningside
Hockey games `here outside teams are involved should be 50 cents per individual,
but free to Edina season ticket holders.
per. cordon Bowen, Manager of 8raeaar Arens, reported that the "Open
House" will be Sunday, January 16, 1966, with activities starting at 1:00 p.m.
The minnesoto Twins have officially ordered the organ to be donated
to Braciaar Arens.
Mr. xojetin reported that due to the wall'm Weather, the winter recrea-
tion activities had a slow start and many were rescheduled to later dates.

Dr. Jackson stated that $626.00 in cash donations has. neer: received
foz t%e continued operation of the Teen Centex. The 1965 debt to the school
for the use of the gy nsi s has now been paid.
The December 28, 1955, dance ,as a success and financial obligations
were: met for this dance. The current balance in the treasury is $533.39.

Mr. yen Stevens be nominated for Chairmsn. Jr. Diercks seconded the nomina-
tion. 11r. Lewis moveil, that nodi mations be closed and the sccvetaTy instructed
to cast as nslanirous vote for Mr. Stevens. Dr. Jackson seconded and the motion
carried.
