Mr. Rosland presented a petition to tte Park Board from the neighbors on Rutledge Avenue between Division and Notor Streets. The petition requested that the Park Board purchase the house that is situated at the northeast corner of Division and Rutledge Park on Rutledge Avenue. The house itself is in a verydilapidatedstate and is a neigh- borhood "eyesore". Mr. Rosland reported that in City Federal has contacted him requesting that the Village buy this home. Twin City Federal, who has the mortgage for the homeowners, thought the house could be purchased for $8,000. Mr. Rosland stated that from a park point of view, this house is not a "must" for continuing park activities. However, Mr. Rosland also stated that the Village may have an obligation to purchase the property® Mr. Adams moved that we take no action to purchase the house at the present time. Mr. Conover seconded and the motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Ken Rosland, Secretary Edina Park Board WLM
