These estimates were based on the buildings that the architects had submitted in previous design concepts. The shelter buildings consist of to core structure i,,zhich has the lava- tory facilities and small mechanical and janitorial room. The remainder of the building would consist of a roof structure, removable side panels, and concrete slab floors. The estimate for a core structure of 250 square feet was $9,627, which is the nucleus of the building. The rentainiog 425 square feet would cost 42,250. The total shelter building of 675 square feet would cost $11,877. It was pointed out that a 675 square feet structure would be approximately four feet longer than the Park Department dIffice. The Park Board felt that this cost was still too 'high® Mr. Rosland stated that there are ways to cut the cost of the building down such as in size and in the lavatory facilities. The Park Board recom- mended that the architect be instructed to give us a building that would cost approximately $8,000 V,, BRAFAAR ARENA MD BRA VAAR GOLF COURSE LIE&N -AL REPORTS Financial reports for Braemar Golf.
