as fojjows: mr. uyde pxasentod to the Park Board fox their information
and study a report on the clubhouse nnd golf courze operation. The,
repoxt included the anticipated expenses fox July 4 Wough October 159
064 and for the entire operating season Ar 1965. The grand total
operating expanse fow 190 is anticipatod at $91,939.00 and $123,960.75
for 1915. It w;s pointed out, howsver, that these figures did includa
the zuppiiss for the grill, pxo shop and niving range, but did not
include the Vs agar margin from the sale of this merchandise- It was
pointed out that ha enpanse c;1cuiations should include the debt
sexvice charges which could be WzOOO - $60,000 annually. it was
also pointed out that the total facilities have been constructed with
re erne bonds. Payments are to ba madefrom Village Xevenue sources
coming first from tha golf course itself, then from liquor store
revenue and then as taxes. It w4$ pointed out the expenses as presented
are higher than originally pxasented to the Council due to the followingt
A. Pojicy to employ by the Villzge a Managex and staff -vs-
Commission operation.
B. Includes a full seasons supplies ior store and g011 resole.
G. There are greater maintenance supplies than previously knorn,
such as Artilizer, top drassin% etc*
Some members of the pzrk Board expressed a view that the proposal
appeared to be realistic and not Vnderestimated based upon their
observations of other operations.
No formal action was taken upon the proposed operating expense
schedule since the associated revenue schedule should be considered
at the same time. W. Hyde advised that formal action was not needed
at this time, and that he will submit estimated revenues for the
April 13 York Ward meeting. Mr. Stevens asked that this data be
made availoble to the sub -committee pxjox to April 13, if possible.
No. Hyde agreed.
