8- Final. Plat of Wanner Addition, located South of Eden Prairie Road between Edenmoor
Addition and the M.N. & S. Railway was presented with recommendation for approval
subject to easerants and an engineering check. Mr. Zikan pointed out that Mr.
Wanner is platting merely in order to establish lot lines. Motion made, seconded
and carried to recommend approval subject to the recommendation.
9- Mr. Stow9s Final. Plat of Lake Edina. was presented. After discussion, Mr. Odell
moved that Planning Coniadssion not apprm7e this plat in its present state since
it does not agree with the Prelim -nary as approved by the Planning Coru-mission on
August 3, 1955. Mr. ,StavT pointed out that Council had approved the Preliminary
which showed a 45 foot roadi-lay on Une Norah a«u that he gent ahead with his Final
Plat on the assumption that it would be appro-;ed with a 45 foot roadway instead
of the 50 foot width Y:'nich Planning ConTission requested. Mr. Todd seconded Mr.
Ode3.19s motion and on vote there =rare two ayes and two nays. For. Krafft voted
in favor and eche motion carried. Fh'. Jamme then moved that Planning Comdssion
discuss this plat with the Council and find out why Council did not comply with
Planning CommissionQs recommendation for a 50 foot roadway width. Motion seconded,,
all in favor and carried. No action on Final Flat at this time.
10= Mr. R. L. Hakthorne's Replat of Lots 6 thru 13, Block 6, Brookview Heights II Add9n,
a Final. Plat, was presented with recommendation for approval, Motion was made,,
seconded and carried to approve this plat if Village Attorney John Windhorst gives
his approval in regards to insuring against liability of Village in any possible
action arising from location of existing utilities or easements.
11- Mr. Krafft read a letter from John Windhorst in regard to the rezoning of Southdale
to accamodate a Medical Centeno After reading the Ordinance, members felt that
although the Ordinance seems proper, a few points should be discussed before it is
adopted, especially with regard to Section 3, Amendment 7, 2oh., with regard to
Parking Garages,, as to use thereof. Mr. Odell then moved that Planning Commission
recommend to the Council that a hearing be held to consider the proposed amendment
to the Zoning Ordinance, Todd seconded, all in favor and motion carriedo

Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
Cosrsnission were unable to decide upon
Village Hall at 9030 A.M. Saturday
at property together, before acting.
