Stow's Final Plat of Lake Edina was presented for approval subject to an engineering cheok, 1'r. Hyde stated that Mr. Stow will deed a strip of land 15 feet wide, parallel and adjacent to the I.hst line of Highway 11100, to the Village by Clait Claim deed. Lewis then moved'for recommendation of approval subject to an engineering checL*g Lofgren seconded, all in favor and motion carried, 3— tr. endo J. Bolduc's sketMh of a. proposed building on Highway ;1169 (Lots 18 and 19, Mock 1, Brookside Heights) was oaln presented,. (See item 11, Minutes of 9-7-55). Mr. Law recommended approval subject to limitation of one driveway on Hankerson, one entrance fron Hi l"Ira-lay ;" 140 and approval of the State Highway Department. Mr. Bolduc agreed that one driveway on Hankerson would be suffi— cient, and stated that he had spent some time with Mr. McCubrey of the State Highway Department, who stated that if lira Bolduc could get approval from the Planning Commission and the Village Council, they would give their approval„ Members of the Planning Commission told tiro Bolduc that they felt that the State Highway DepFirtment should take the initiative in this case, After further study and consideration, Mr. Lewis moved to recommend to the Council that lots 18 and 19, Block 1, Brookside Heights, be rezoned Community Store, Motion seconded, all in favor, and carried, 4— Mr. Ernest V. Klopp's Preliminary Plat of Lot 26, Warden Acres, corner of Hansen Road and Grove Street, was presented by Mr. Zikan with recommendation for approval, Mr. Lofgren moved to recommend approval to the Council, motion seconded, all in favor and carried. 5— Mr. A. B. JohnsonQs Final. Plat, a re—plat of Lot b and the South one—half of Lot 5, Block 1, Code's H3ghview Park, was presented with recommendation for approval. Mr. Jamme recommended approval, Hiatt seconded, all in favor and motion carriedo 6-= Enoch Sward's Preliminary sketch of property on ging Avenue between 59th and 60th, (East one half of Lots 50 and 51, Auditor's Subdivision #312) was presented. Since some of these lots would only be 66 feet wide, motion was made to recommend approval subject to a hearingo Motion seconded, all in favor and carried. 7— Pero W. T. Mareck's Preliminary sketch of Arden Park Second Addition (old Street— car right—of--way between Brcwndale J'venue and the M.N. & S, Railway tracks) was presented along with petition for re—platting and declaration of restrictions. Approval was recommended subject to dedication of ten additional feet on the East side of North Street and all of the area between North Street and the Creek, also that "-lackey be dedicated in a 40 foot width but not opened. Mr. Lewis moved to recom— mend approval, motion seconded, all in favor and carried. 9— Mel.. Sagar9s Proposed Preliminary Plat of Saaar Square, being property from West 60th Street to Grove., nest of tormandale, was presented vo'ith recommendation for approval subject to approval of the State Highway Department. Mr. Jamme moved to recommend approval on this basis, motion seconded by Krafft, all in favor and carried. 10• Representatives from St„ Peter"s Lutheran Church, corner France Avenue and Fuller Street, were present with tentative plans and a sketch of their present location. They stated that the Church they now occupy has been sold and is to be moved in the spring. In order to build a new Church of the size and capacity needed and desired, they asked that a set—back of approximately 10 feet on France Avenue and 1.5 feet on Fuller Street be favorably considered. Letter from Mr. Rapson, their architect, confirming their request,, was filed. Mro Krafft reminded them that it was necessary to have adequate parking Facilities and this problem was discussed to the conclusion that it would be taken care of. Mr. Lewis made a motion to recommend approval of this plan to the Council, Mr. Krafft seconded, all in favor and motion carried. 11— Mr. Jerry Stone's Final Plat of Clover Lane III Addition, South of West 60th and West of Normandale, ,:as presented with a recor�mendation for approval subject to State Highway Department approval and a hearing on the lot sizes.
