Mt was consistent with the Preliminary subm!tted. Motion was then made by Tyr. Jam -e to recommend approval of thic pJ.el, subject to the legal require- ments as determined by the Attorney, seconded and. carried. 8- Mr. Archie Dion°s Preliminary Plat was presented with recommendation for approval. Motion was ;rade by Mr. Jmme to recommend approval, seconded and carried. 9e Memo from Dick Mage, assistant Building Inspector, regarding the duplication of house numbers on Olinger Road ate. South Olinger road, was read. After discussion and study, motion was made to recommend to the Council. teat South Olinger Road be changed to West 62nd Street, since it is really an extension of same, that the North-South line be changed to Tracy Avenue amd that the name of Olinger Road be changed to Whiting Street. Mr. Hyde was asked to inform Airs. Olinger bf the changes, since she was the party who called to advise of the difficulty arising from the duplication of house numbers. 10- Topography of Meath Glen was presented and studied in relation to the Preliminary Plat. After discussion, Jame moved to recommend approval of this Plat subject to a drainage easement of 20 ft. along the rear of the lot lines, this to be shown on the final plat, also subject to dedication of adequate park playground or a monetary donation equivalent to 51% of the value of the raw land. Pyr. Austin agreed to these terms and stated that 5% of the land value Mould be $500. Air. Lofgren seconded the motion, all in favor and motion carried. 11- L. E. Jonesa Preliminary Plat of a subdivision of Tract A. Reg. Land Survey #194, into three irregularly shaped lots, was presented and lir. Jones explained his reason for dividing in this marmer was to sell part of his property in lots and still retain enough land so he would have the use of his well for his present home. On being questioned,'he stated there was 2.9 Acres of ].arid in all and he was not, therefore, asked to contribute any part of this for park purposes. Motion was made, seconded and carried to reconmend approval of this Preliminary Plat. 12- Mr. R. Landgren 0 s replat of Lots 9,10,3-1,12,13,,14,, Block 7, Normandale II Addition,, was presented with a recorxmndation for approval subject to the dedication of a 5 foot easement for Holborn Ave nue, making the depth of lots facing Warren Avenue 120 feet instead of 125 feet and subioct to a hearing on one lot which is below minimum size. After consideration, motion was made, seconded and carried to recom- mend approval subject to the conditions in the recommendation. 13- Vacation of Adams Avenue was again presented and ?sir. Hyde read an opinion fv m Attorney Duane Josephs Mir. Resop and Mr. Erickson were present and discussion was had as to present ownership of the land in question, with no agreement being reached. Motion was then made to recommend vacation subject to the satisfactory legal interpretation so that none of the traveled portion of the street would be lost.
