presented with recommendation for approval. Motion made, seconded and carried
to recommend approval.

14- Mr. C. W. Farnham, Architect for Superior Separator Company, requested Industrial
zoning for a strip of land in the Northwest corner of the Village between Adaris
and Jefferson Avenua� , stating that they had purchased this property with the
understanding that iW was zoned Industrial. Xr. Zikan explained that it was not
so zoned and that M'r. H3de felt that any Industrial permits should be held up
until such a time as a Zoning Ordinance can be dra ri up. 1°11r. Lewis said there
was nothing the Planning Commission could do a.t this time. Mr. Law said i:u could
be zoned for parking purposes, if they so desired:, No action taken,
15- Mr. W. E. Peterson asked approval of a 40 foot setback from Cooper Avenue, static-:'-
that Building Inspector had required a 75 foot setback. This lot is on the cor°nr:(>
of Cooper Avenue and Interlachen Boulevard and after study, Planning Commission
recoxrmended a 40 foot setback from Cooper Avenue, 40 foot setback from Interlacher
and two access roads, one on Interlachen and one on Cooper Avenue. M. :Krafft
made a motion to recommend to the Building Inspec,tnrfs office that approval be
granted, motion seconded and carried.
16- Mr. H. M. Kuhnle1T, 4629 ?,exington. Avenue, presented a Preliminary Plat of Registered
Land Survey #3, property- 'oetEac;en Brittany Pod .-:nd No.rmandale Boulevard, South 0"
W. 66th Street. This prop: ty is 120' feet " and 610 feet leen_ and Mr. I ihnle
wants to divide in or er to build another h:)u.re to face 3rittany Road. It was
suggested that he divide it: exactly in half, since the adjoining lots are divided

17-- N'r. Zikan informed mem'oers t1hat Y . HFde had suggested that Planning Co mmission
and Council meet on Iay 16th at 7:30 P.M. in regard to Industrial Zoning. In
view of this ,;eeting, it vas suggested that Planning Commission members meet
at the hall at 5 Pod; on this same day and go out and inspect the properties in
question, namely: Mr. `Phernell's lots on France Avenue, Fir. Pewowaruk's lots
.
on France venue,, and Mr. Gordon's property at 49th and Vernon Avenue.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, members adjourned
at 9:30 P.M.
