1- 11inutes of the meeting of June 6, 1956, were approved on motion made by
Lewis, seconded by Odell and carried.
2- Robeit L. Rowland 7s -proposed re -plat of Lots 4 and 5, Block 3, Brookside
Heights Addition 1held over frog:last meetirg, was reviewed. Messrs. Todd,
Lewis and Odell had looked at the land and advised Kr. Rowland to move the

require a hearing. Mot -ion made by Odell, seconded by Lofgren., to, deny Mr.
Rcwland�s request to replat. Carried.
3- Mrs. Willson°s Preliminailr plat of property at corner of Normandale and
Windsor Avenue into three lots, wach 70 feet 7viide by 1-35 Ilest deep, was
considered. Since lots across the street are 65 feet wide, motion was

with regard to drainage, streets, street- naraes and park dedication. Mr. Sime
said he would like to plaht trees at the end of Stunac and Mr. Hyde suggested
a fence type structure would be better. It was sic..-gested that Mr. Sime come

in and discues the plat with Er. Hyde and Mr. Zikan in regard to drainage and
park dedication. Mr. Sime sE,,id he would check with the Post Office on street
names. Motion was then made by Mr. Odell, seconded by Lewis, to recommend
approval subject to an engineering check., proper drainage, park dedication

and street name approval. All in favor, motion carried.
5- Mr. Arthur ";,_-herpkes ji,oposed replat of Lot 4, Block 4, Creston Hills was
presented with a recommendation for rejection since the lots are below minimum
size and not in keeping with rest of block and area. Motion was made,, seconded
and carried to reject in accordance with the recommendation.
6-- James Shuldhiess end Sig Strand's request to rezone 4417 and 41*09 Val -ley View
Road was reviewed2:nd the district studied. Motion was then made, seconded
and carried to recor,,mend to the Council that a hearing be held for rezoning
these lots to Cormranity Store District.
7- Mrs. A. L. Norton's preliminary plat of Hanson Road, Benton to West 60th',
also carried over from last meeting, was reviewed. Inasmuch as no interest
has been shown among affected property oianers in providing for extending Dale
Avenue,, recommendation for approval was had. Motion made, seconded and carried
to reconnend approval of this plat to the Council,
8- Final Plat of Edwards Addition.. 56th and Oaklawn,, was presented. This plat
agrees with the preliminary and in accordance with request made at the April
meeting, performance bond was furnished, Although two of the three lots are
below minimum size, since there are already houses on them, recommendation

After careful consideration., motion was made by Mr. Odell, seconded by Lofgren,
and carried that 'Flaniiii4ri,, Commission authorize the Village Manager to investi--
gate the possibility of employing expert advice on the proposed industrial site,,
and on other problem in the southern part of the Village.
There being no fUrther business, meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
