Members Present: T. L. Tod4, Chairman, A. H. Hiatt, Wm. Wilkinson, Leonard Odell; Warren C. flyde, Village Manager, Joseph Zikan, Village Engineer and C. Edgard Swanson, Planning Director. I - Minutes of the meeting of December 4th, 1957, were approved on motion, seconded and carried. II - Subdivision Approval Requests PRELIMINARY APPROVAL: S_ S-8 A. Request of John Brost, owner of lots 4 and 5, Normandale Terrace, to split them into three equal size lots approximately 851 wide, was considered. These lots are just north of 69th Street and face BrittwW Road. Motion made, seconded and carried to recommend approval. FINAL APPROVAL: A. Hawkinson Terrace, a replat of lots 20 thru 27, Block 5, Normandale II, into lots of greater width. Motion made, seconded and carried to recommend approval. B. Erickson Addition, a replat of lots 10 thru 19, except lot 14 and the south one-half of lots 13, Block 5, Normandale II, into lots of greater width. Motion made, seconded and carried to recommend approval. C. Woodhill, a replat of lots 8 thru 14, Block 1, into lots of greater width. Motion made, seconded and carried to recommend approval. III - ZONING CHANGE REQUESTS A. Z-58-1, V. H. Mathieu, request for permission to erect a 4 -plea on lots 10, 11 and 12, Block 9 of Brookside Heights. Mr. Mathieu was present and after discussion, motion was made, seconded and carried to recommend approval of this request on the basis of the three lots to be used for a four to six-plex site. Mr. Mathieu was encouraged to determine what type of structure he intends to build prior to his appearance before the Village Council B. Z-58-2, Roger Findell, request to erect a 3-plex on the south 193.92 feet of the west 75 feet of lot 20, block 2, Peacedale Acres. Mr. Findell was present and also Mr. Bing, who owns property in the vicinity. After dis- cussion, motion was made by Na. Odell, seconded by Wilkinson and carried to recommend approval of Mr. Findellas request to build a house (single dwelling) on the North 150 feet of the West 75 feet of Lot 20 and the survey as presented was approved as the Preliminary Plat of his property. However, it was suggested that Mr. Findell get together with Mr. Swanson, Mr. Hyde and the other people in the area before approval is recommended as to multiple dwellings in the area. (Note: The request of Pederson Dairy for re -zoning was considered next. See Old Business) C.
