TO: Edina Planning Commission
!N RE: February 1, 1967 ABanda
6 P.M Don Brauer 019 present Tha preliminary findings sand recommendations
otheir planning study for southwest Edina. This is zn extremely important and
interesting project.
3 P.M. Another Short but naOr" th&oss Neaty agonda. The Susan Lindgren
School is the St. Louis Park Scho& District facility over which there has been so
much recent controversy. A pot- ion of the site is within Edina (formerly Morningside)
and among other prob iems the proposal will aggravate an already serious storm drainage
siluotion . The Village Hail Site MasTer Pian is being prepared in response to the
library location consideration as well as the forthcoming T.H. 100 improvement. Tho
development of the Creek Vai lay School - Park Plan has so far Wen a very
satisfactory experience for all involved and shows promisa as an excellent case study
in the many advantages of joint municipal - school district -qac ifity planning.
