EDINA HERITAGE PRESERVATION BOARD
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1985, AT 8:00 P.M.
EDINA CITY HALL, MANAGER'S CONFERENCE ROOM
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Foster Dunwiddie, Lois Wilder,
and Gordon Stuart
STAFF PRESENT: Harold Sand
Mr. Dunwiddie noted that a quorum was not present and decided the
Board could not conduct a regular meeting. The Wooddale School
Report would be considered as an emergency measure and ratified
at a future meeting due to the scheduled March 4, 1985 City Council
hearing on the matter.

Mr. Dunwiddie reviewed a second report on the Wooddale School
issues dated March 4, 1985, which was drafted by Tom Martinson
and mailed to all members of the Board. The report contained additional
arguments for retaining Wooddale School and a proforma for rehabilitation
of the building and rental for public organizations. Gordon Stuart moved
for approval of the report. Lois Wilder seconded the motion. All voted
aye. Motion carried.
The members also discussed the January 22, 1985, minutes, the
significance of the Foster Green Farm, 7440 Cahill Road, additions to.
dwellings at 4617 Moorland and 4905 Browndaie Avenue, the 1985 Edina
Expo, the certified local governments program and potential new members.
No further action taken.
Next Meeting Date: March 26, 1985, at 8:00 p.m.
