V. PARK MADITENIZICE POLICIES
Mr. French reported that criticism of park maintenance work was
had from the Council. He stated that it seemed to be mainly regarding
mowing. He explained that due to the early spring and active growing
season it was necessary, to begln i-nowing during the first week in May.
However, due to man povez, shortage J-11-- was impossible to really keep
up with rao-Ang and other necessary work; that until the first week of
June when school was out' and the part time summer help started to work
it would be difficult to get all necessary work done.
The Board felt that things viere not as bad as seemingly indicvued
but perhaps a meeting with the Council would be helpful. They asked
to be provided with mowing and maintenance work schedule.
