Jerry Dalen, finance directory presented a written and oral report on the Swimming Pool Fund. He explained that the Council had authorized, at the sup, stion of the auditors, a separate fund be set up to account for the pool and pool concession operation. Also, that If the pool continued to do as well financially as it did in 1958 and 1959, it would be possible to pay part of, if not all of, the capitol indebtedness of the pool; i.e.$ the bonds and intersat charges. A separate fund provides the most appro- priate vay to report the accounting for such, debt retirement. The board throughly revieved the report and Mir. 11.1-ilen satisfactoril,,,- ans"ered all questions out to him, The board noted but voiced no opposi- tion to the idea that capitol debt lotirement fronpoo l revenue represent- ed a change in tbinking from the ori,al concept that the pool would d-0 if tho n'.-vej-jus could adequa Iyout-of-ponket operational. expensesN No action Ya8 twhan an lba report sinco it was presented or informational rraso= Posover, it could be stated that the idea Of the sur m` pool fvnie-" 1'-i A-59- TH 1960 W&Y REPOPT e-'Fo Tark Depyrtment buiget r. 1'I% D'aien *as orcssn' We '1'9 T,as- btle-"!.y No copQ6 of the approved budget are yet avzilablej but vV11 be soon, Vy Valan Sid present copies of a report showing &Just- ment: to the pyopoa& builst for .f ;fie Ra act on ras neesseary'' W59- Frcuct- sltz`uqr that tvis iocat;:_f,n vm_ nt for one of a major Pokating rinks Au the Village.
