Considerable discussion and explanation of possible ways of achieving economies

Mr. Hill moved that it be recommended to the Council that the low bidder, Swanson,
Excavating Co. be awarded the bid subject to reducing paths. to 600 feet= elindnation
of 84" culver=t but including 30" culvert with by-pass.
Mr. Crinkley seconded the motion` It passed unanimously.

On the backstop bid! Mr. Stevens moved that if subsequent investigation discloses
that fence mterials can be bought and backstops erected by the Park crew at a worth-
while saving that this be recommended to the Council as the course to follows other-
wise that only the two backstops for East mirror I:ake Park be constructed at this
time and that these be awarded to the low bidder,. Crown Iron Works.
