'the first half hour eras spent in r viewing the budget in preparation for
the meeting with the Council*
Mr* Harrison presented a preliminary plan for the total developmant of
Highlands Parl.v Mr. Stevens reported on behalf of Mr. Grinklay who could not
attend this meeting that he (Cr nkley) had been informed by certain residents
opposed to anything but scenic park development; -that another petition was being
circulated in the area pursuant to that end.. Atter a great deal of discussion

base hall. fields and parking area. The intention is
to do this as quickly as passiblso

c* Install foot and bicycle path from. the :north easement
from Interlachen Blvd*
d. Install steps and footpath frow :ktyline Drive entrance.
o, Winter parking area in vicinity of north and of Doncaster
Way for skating on large pond..
In addition, the Board. rec nds that greater efforts be made to alleviate
complaints of neighbors next baseball season with particular reforence to parking_,
litt4r and making Pamela Panic the prinncipal center= of baseball activk1 ro
A. letter to the Highlands Park delegation is to be written notifying them
..hat planning work has begun and they will be invited, to re�.ew plans when Park
Board is ready to recommend a plane
Mr. wHarrison then presented plan=s for Wooddale Park. The plan in general
met, with favor.
