Members present--Strachauer, Lewis, and Scoggin
Meeting called to order at 8:15 P.M.
The matter of construction of two additional worming houses was discussed.
Mr. Lewis spoke to Phil Bailey about eost of construction. Mr. Bailey
suggested using plywood, which would cost less than $400.00 each.
The Park Board has suggested five potential locations for the new skating
finks:
1. Millpond
2. East Mirror Ls=ke Pond
3. 52nd & Arden or 54th & Creek
4. 57th & Chowen
5. Obermeyer Property
Mr. Lewis made a motion to proceed with the warmingtnuses. It was seconded
by Mr. Scoggin. Mr. Lewis is to appropriate funds for an additional 3400.00
for cost of construction and labor in building the warming houses.
Mr. Lewis made a motion to have the 'ark Board Meetings the first and third
Wednesdays of the month for the balance of the year. The motion was passed.
Mr. Lewis made a motion of postponement to defer the matter of the Special
Bond issue which was under consideration for presentation bo the Village at
the next regular Village election in December 1949•
the meeting was adjourned at 9:15.P. M.
