Meeting called to order at 8:00
Members present - Messrs. Strachauer, Lewis, and Scoggin
A petition was presented to the Pork Board signed by all property owners adjacent
to the "Lake Hrrvey" Property stating that the residents have no objection to the
Village maintaining and onerating a. public skating rink and warming house on Lake
Harvey for the 1949-1950 skating Program.
Mr. Greer, athletic teacher at the Edina High School, called in regard to a specific
time to be set aside for use by the High School hockey squad on the 52nd and Arden
rink, it was agreed by the Pr-rk Boyrd provided Mr. Greer gave assistance to any
other hockey players not on the squad. The hours to be mutually agreed upon later.
Phil Bailey reported progress on the warming house.
The Park Board"Commissioners inspected Mrs. Keeley's property and reported it not
suitable due to lack of water facilities.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PIM.

The Village Council has issued a free grant of 11,500 from the General Fonds of the
Village for Park purposes.
