EDINA FIRE DEPARTMENT
ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT
City of Edina
WHEREAS, The City of Edina and the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) have agreed to enter into a agreement for the acquisition of Self -Contained
Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment for the Edina Fire Department. The City of
Edina agrees that the grant is intended to protect the health and safety of the public and
firefighting personnel against fire and fire -related hazards
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Edina, Minnesota hereby accepts the agreement and documents relating to The Federal
Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal
Fiscal Year 2009 Homeland Security Grant Program, Award Number EMW-2009-FO-
11862.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Man�er are authorized to
execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
