RESOLUTION 2014-111
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR
HENNEPIN COUNTY ENVIRONMENAL RESPONSE FUND GRANT
WHEREAS,the City of Edina has developed and approved plans for the final phase of the Edina Promenade,
consisting of a walking path and water feature; and
WHEREAS, soil borings associated with the design of the project discovered contamination consistent with
buried construction debris necessitating investigation and development of remediation options; and
WHEREAS, an investigation of the contamination is complete and soil remediation plan is in place;
NOW,THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of t e City of Edina approves the
Environmental Response Fund grant application for submission to the Henne in County, Department of Environmental
Services on November 3, 2014, by Barr Engineering Company, on behalf h City of Edina.
