RESOLUTION NO. 2014-133
EDINA FIRE DEPARTMENT
ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT
WHEREAS, The City of Edina and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
have agreed to enter into an agreement for the acquisition of Stryker Power-LOAD equipment
for the Edina Fire Department. The City of Edina agrees that the grant is intended to protect
the health and safety of the public, firefighting and EMS personnel with respect to hazards
related to patient movement and transportation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Edina, Minnesota
hereby accepts the agreement and documents relating to The Federal Emergency Management
Agency, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Fiscal Year 2013 Homeland Security
Grant Program, Award Number EMW-2013-FO-03779.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute
the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
