RESOLUTION NO. 2017-32
APPROVING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
CITY OF EDINA AND METROPOLITAN COUNCIL
FOR UPGRADING COUNCIL METER M 129
WHEREAS, the City of Edina is a political subdivision, organized and existing under the laws of
the State of Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, the City plans to reconstruct a segment of Xerxes Avenue in the vicinity of
Council Meter M 129 located at the intersection of Xerxes Avenue and W. 75th Street; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to upgrade meter M129 to accommodate increased
wastewater flows projected by the City;
WHEREAS, both the City and Council desire to complete both projects at the same time to
minimize community impacts and make the best use of City and Council resources;
THEREFORE, the Council desires to have the City upgrade meter M 129;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby
authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to execute and enter into a cooperative
agreement with the Metropolitan Council to upgrade meter M 129, a opy of which said agreement was
before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by reference.
