City of Edina
WHEREAS, the City of Edina has planned the addition of bike lanes along West
58th Street from France Avenue (County Road 17) to Xerxes Avenue (County Road 31);
and
WHEREAS, this improvement do not provide adequate width for parking on both
sides of the street; and approval of the proposed improvements on a Municipal State
Aid Street must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS THEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Edina shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of West 58th Street,
east of France Avenue (County Road 17) to the City border at Xerxes Avenue (County
Road 31).
