City of Edina
WHEREAS, Nine Mile Creek Watershed is in need of various improvements and Nine
Mile Creek Watershed already has budgeted funds for water quality improvements projects
within the City of Edina, including, but not limited to, streambed stabilization, off road multi
purpose trail accompanying the creek, to the extent possible, corridor management and
improvement of lake water quality in their 2007-2016 Capital Plan, and
WHEREAS, The City has not budgeted for the costs of this project, and
WHEREAS, The Nine Mile Watershed District has funding available to pay for said
improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Edina that the
Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to petition the watershed district for funding of
said improvements
