ay Letter to Nine Mile Creek regarding Petition
City of Edina
WHEREAS, The City of Edina adopted a resolution 2009-09 on January 6, 2009
petitioning the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District for water quality improvement projects in
the City of Edina,
WHEREAS, The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District has reviewed and adopted the
petition contingent on receiving a letter from the City stating that "the City will pay all costs
and expenses that maybe incurred if the proceedings are dismissed or a construction or
implementation contract is not awarded for the proposed project, pursuant to the requirements
of Minnesota Statutes Section 103D.705."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Edina that the
Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to sign said letter
ADOPTED this 17t11 day of March 2009.
