AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE
o OF FUNDS FROM IRS

WHEREAS, the Minnesota Financial Crimes Task Force is desirous of receiving aid
in their mission; and
WHEREAS, the United State Internal Revenue Service has forfeited funds available
for use by law enforcement agencies.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Edina
authorized the Edina Police Department to receive funds from the United States Internal
Revenue Service on behalf of the Minnesota Financial Crimes Task Force.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Edina Police Department is authorized to
transmit the aforementioned funds to the State of Minnes to to act as fiscal agent for the
Minnesota Financial Crimes Task Force
