City of Edina
WHEREAS, the City of Edina has planned bike lanes installation along
Interlachen Boulevard from Vernon Avenue to Blake Road, and along Blake Road from
Interlachen Boulevard north to the City limits; and
WHEREAS, the City of Edina will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on a
portion of the improvement of this street, and
WHEREAS, these improvements do not provide adequate width for parking on
segments of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State
Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS THEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Edina shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on Interlachen Boulevard from
Vernon Avenue to Blake Road, and along Blake Road from Interlachen Boulevard north
to the City limits.
