TAX FORFEIT PROPERTY
City of Edina
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edina has received from the County of Hennepin a list of
lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota for non-payment of
property taxes, which said list was dated September 19, 2008, Conservation/Non-Conservation
Classification List 1450-C/NC.
WHEREAS, the parcels in said list identified as PIN No. 29-117-21-43-0009 (5300 Glengarry
Parkway) has heretofore been classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County,
Minnesota, as non-conservation land the sale thereof and has heretofore been authorized by said
Board of County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Edina City Council that there are two existing special
assessments against the parcel identified as PIN No. 29-117-21-43-0009 (5300 Glengarry Parkway)
in the amount of $2,366.09 for a street improvement and $1,239.78 for delinquent utility bills on said
parcel, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Edina City Council that there are pending special
assessments against the parcel identified as PIN No. 29-117-21-43-0009 (5300 Glengarry Parkway)
in the amount of$179.80 for a sidewalk improvement and $1,278.04 for delinquent utility bills, and
• WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Edina City Council that the parcel identified as PIN No. 29-
117-21-43-0009 (5300 Glengarry Parkway) need not be withheld from sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Edina City Council that the said classifications are hereby
approved.
