APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF THE
2008 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL

City of Edina
WHEREAS, municipalities in the Metropolitan Council Region are required
to update their Comprehensive Plans every ten years; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Edina has now completed work in revising the
Comprehensive Plan Update;
WHEREAS, following notice and a public hearing the Planning Commission
has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan and has forwarded its recommendation to
the City Council;
WHEREAS, In March 2008 The City submitted the proposed
Comprehensive Plan to adjacent governmental units and affected school districts
for review and comment;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Edina City Council that the 2008 Comprehensive
Plan Update is approved for submission to the Metropolitan Council.
• Passed and adopted by the Edina City Council t isn day of December,
2008.
